It is that period of time when we pause and reflect on the redemptive power of the death of Jesus Christ and what this means to us. We reconcile with God and make reparation for our sins. It is more of a self-introspection.

The season of Lent makes us reflect on the Seven Last Words of Jesus Christ, giving emphasis on His sacrifices since it is the reason why we are saved from our sins, through His dying on the Cross and His Resurrection. I am going to spend Holy Week at home and attend the procession. It has always been a habit to spend the rest of the week listening to the radio and watching TV for the Seven Last Words. We also arrange our “caro” for Our Lady of Sorrows, for the procession, this on our third year at M.H. del Pilar.
